Planet earth is a paradox - a lush, fertile world three-quarters-covered by water, yet in danger of running dry. Fresh water is disappearing from overuse and pollution and the only hope lies in desalination (a process to convert salt water into fresh)...
Francesca Carval is a brilliant scientist whose newest discovery will save the human race. She has perfected the process of desalination, and is flying to a conference in Rio to announce it to the world. When a group of terrorists attempt to hijack her plane, they crash in the Venezuelan jungle and Francesca is taken in, and protected, by a native tribe. She is not heard from again. Meanwhile, ten years later, Kurt Austin and his NUMA team come across the mysterious death of a pod of grey whales off the coast of California. The path leads Austin to the heart of South America, where he discovers Francesca living among the tribe that took her in, the 'white goddess' of the jungle... Austin also stumbles upon a group that aims to control the world's fresh water supply, and will kill anyone who stands in its way. Racing from the open oceans off the United States to the deep jungles of Venezuela, Austin and the NUMA team engage in a thrilling new adventure torn from the headlines.

Chronicle
Rome 1959. Vlad, Count Dracula, announces his marriage to
Asa Vajda, Princess of Moldavia.
From around the world both the living and the undead are gathering for the social
event of the Century, as Dracula takes yet another bride. In Italian exile since the end
of World War Two, rumours are circulating that this will mark Dracula's first move to
return to his position as Lord of the Undead and as a major power in world affairs.
But this wedding is not the only event bringing people to Rome this year. Charles
Beauregard, one of Dracula's sworn enemies', draws near to his natural death
reuniting the three vampire ladies of his life; his comrade in battle, journalist Kate
Reed, his former fiancéé, Penelope Churchward and his elder vampire lover,
Geneviéve Dieudonné.
But the Eternal City is not so welcoming to the rest of its vampire visitors, for they are
being targeted and cut down by the Crimson Executioner, a killer who appears
without warning, but with deadly retribution. Deaths, which seem to indicate that
there are forces far older and stronger than the bloodlines of Dracula.
Dracula Cha Cha Cha sees the reunion of the previous protagonists of Kim
Newman's Anno Dracula series, together with a fascinating and iconic array of
characters. From the unscrupulous American Tom Ripley, to a vampiric Commander
Bond, from actor/director/story-teller Orson Welles to the Mater Lachrymarum - a
spirit even older than the Lord of the Undead himself.
Dracuia Cha Cha Cha is the latest novel in the Anno Dracula sequence,
a novel of horror and mystery, romance and intrigue, eternal love and enduring
friendship, set against the backdrop of the ancient and decadent La Dolce Morte.
